Unordered Lists

Use an unordered list when the order of items doesn't matter, like a shopping list or a set of features. Instead of numbers, items get bullet points by default.

The outer tag here is ul, but it still uses the same li tag for each item, just like ordered lists.

<ul>

  <li>Milk</li>

  <li>Eggs</li>

  <li>Bread</li>

</ul>

Explanation: Notice that li is shared between both list types. The only difference is the wrapper: ol for numbered lists and ul for bulleted lists. This keeps HTML consistent and easy to remember.
