Table Structure

Tables display data in rows and columns, like a spreadsheet. The outer wrapper is the table tag. Inside it, each row uses tr, short for table row.

Within each row, individual cells use td, short for table data. Think of it like building a grid one row at a time.

<table>

  <tr>

    <td>Name</td>

    <td>Age</td>

  </tr>

  <tr>

    <td>Alex</td>

    <td>25</td>

  </tr>

</table>

Explanation: Each tr represents one full row across the table. The number of td tags inside a tr determines how many columns that row has. Keep the same number of td tags in every row so the table lines up properly.
