There are two paths to Claude’s nonprofit pricing, depending on your organisation’s size and needs.

For Team Plans  Self-Serve

1. Go to the Goodstack verification form and complete the short nonprofit status verification. This takes 2 to 3 minutes.

2.  If your organisation matches the eligibility criteria, you will receive an email from Anthropic confirming your eligibility.

3.    Follow the link in the email to sign up using the same email address you verified with Goodstack. You must use the verified email to access nonprofit pricing.

4.   Click ‘With my team’ and fill in your details to set up your Team plan account at the discounted rate.

Important: The $8/user/month price is for Standard seats only. Premium seats are not available at the discounted nonprofit price.

For Enterprise Plans

Contact the Anthropic nonprofit sales team directly. The sales team will verify your 501(c)(3) or equivalent status as part of the sales conversation. Enterprise pricing is not self-serve.

For Individual Users

Individual nonprofit staff can access Claude Pro at $20/month without going through the Team or Enterprise route. The AI Fluency for Nonprofits course and the nonprofit use case library are available to all users regardless of plan.

How the Verification Process Works

Anthropic partners with Goodstack for nonprofit verification. Goodstack is a global nonprofit validation platform that verifies 501(c)(3) status and equivalent international designations.

The process for Team plan self-serve verification:

• Step 1: Complete the Goodstack form: Submit your organisation’s details. The form takes 2 to 3 minutes. Goodstack checks your nonprofit status against their validation database.
• Step 2: Receive the Anthropic email: If your organisation is eligible, Anthropic sends an email confirming your eligibility with a link to complete your account setup.
• Step 3: Sign up with your verified email: Use the exact email address you verified with Goodstack. The nonprofit pricing will be applied automatically to your new Team plan account.

If verification is declined or you have questions about your application, contact Goodstack directly; they manage the eligibility determination process. If the discount link is not working, clear your browser cache and try again in an incognito window. If the issue persists, contact Anthropic support.

Existing Full-Price Account Holders

If your organisation already has a paid Team plan and qualifies for nonprofit pricing:

5.  Navigate to Admin settings > Billing and cancel your current plan. Note that only organisation Owners and Primary Owners can do this.

6.     Wait for the current subscription to expire.

7.     Verify your nonprofit status via Goodstack.

8.  Once verified, follow the email instructions to resubscribe with your verified email address.

Your existing Team plan account data will be retained after cancelling, so re-subscribing with the same email address will restore that data.

Nonprofit Connectors

• Email domain questions: Team plans do not require all members to use the same email domain. Admins can invite users with any email address, as long as the domain is added to the Allowed email domains.
