Data Handling & Validation
Before any data reaches the database, it needs to be checked and formatted properly, and that is where this section comes in.
A. Input validation ensures the data entered by the user makes sense before it gets processed. For example, the program checks that roll numbers and ages are valid numbers, and that marks entered fall between 0 and 100. If the input doesn't meet these conditions, the user is shown an error instead of the program silently accepting bad data.
B. String formatting, mainly done using f-strings, is used to neatly organize how information is displayed on screen. This project uses formatting to align student records into clean, readable tables with proper spacing between roll number, name, class, and other details, instead of dumping everything together in a messy line.
C. Date handling is used specifically for the attendance feature. The datetime module automatically captures today's date whenever attendance is marked, so the user doesn't have to type it manually, and every attendance record stays accurately timestamped.
