Course Overview

This course begins with an introduction to digital ASIC design, its flow, and hardware design types. You’ll learn the basics of Verilog HDL, including different modelling types and how to simulate designs. As you progress, you’ll explore Verilog constructs such as data types, operators, loops, and conditionals for creating hardware models.

The course advances into hardware modelling constructs, simulator system functions, and testbenches. You’ll also perform behavioural simulations of combinational and sequential circuits like multiplexers, ALUs, flip-flops, and FSMs using Xilinx Vivado IDE. By the end, you’ll have the expertise to design and simulate complex digital circuits confidently.
