This course begins with an introduction to LEC, explaining its role in ASIC and FPGA design. You’ll learn the LEC Design Flow, a systematic approach to verifying circuit implementations for equivalence.

You’ll explore Combinational Equivalence Checking (CEC) for verifying logic gates and Sequential Equivalence Checking (SEC) for validating circuits with memory elements. The course also covers SEC architecture, used in comparing finite state machines and pipeline structures.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with industry-standard verification tools, including Synopsys, Cadence LEC, and Siemens Questa, learning how they automate equivalence checking for improved efficiency.

By the end of this course, you’ll be equipped with practical skills to verify and validate digital circuits, ensuring design integrity in semiconductor development.
