Course Overview

This course offers a complete learning pathway that takes you from Python essentials to building scalable APIs powered by Redis caching. You’ll first strengthen your foundational programming skills with functions, code structuring, and exception handling. Then, you’ll explore REST architecture, HTTP methods, JSON, and API testing through Postman. With Django and Django REST Framework, you’ll learn how to create models, serializers, API views, and full CRUD operations. Once your API skills are solid, the course introduces Redis, explaining cache memory, installation, redis-cli usage, Docker-based setup, and integration with Django. You’ll implement Redis caching in real projects and understand when and why to use it for optimization. By the end, a capstone project helps you apply everything to build a fast, efficient, production-style REST API.
